NCAA Football 09 is a college football simulation developed by EA Canada and published by EA Sports, released in July 2008 for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, and Xbox 360. The game serves as the follow-up to NCAA Football 08 in EA Sports' long-running college football series, placing players in control of university teams competing across the full collegiate season. As a sports simulator, it emphasizes realistic representations of the college game, including team rosters, playbooks, and stadium atmospheres drawn from the sport. A separate Wii release, titled NCAA Football 09 All-Play, launched under EA Sports' newly introduced All-Play brand, though that version was exclusive to that platform.
