Pokémon Moon is a role-playing adventure developed by Game Freak, released in 2016 for the Nintendo 3DS. As an entry in the mainline Pokémon series, it features turn-based combat in which players capture, train, and battle creatures called Pokémon across an explorable world. The game is paired with Pokémon Sun as a companion release, with each version offering its own variations in content. A notable feature at launch was expanded language support: the game was among the first in the series to offer nine playable languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and both Traditional and Simplified Chinese, broadening accessibility for players across different regions. The inclusion of Chinese-language options in particular marked a meaningful step toward wider international availability within the long-running franchise.
Embark on a new adventure as a Pokémon Trainer and catch, battle, and trade all-new Pokémon on the tropical islands of the Alola Region.
