Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 is a skateboarding sports game developed by Neversoft Entertainment and released in 2000 for PlayStation, Dreamcast, PC, Mac, and iOS. Building on its predecessor, the game introduced several significant additions, most notably a Create-A-Park mode that allows players to design their own skate environments, and the manual maneuver, a balancing trick that opened up new combo possibilities and proved broadly influential on the genre. Players work through a roster of real professional skaters across a series of distinct levels, including a widely praised Philadelphia stage, completing objectives and chaining tricks for high scores.
