Yoshi Touch & Go is a platform-puzzle game developed by Nintendo EAD Software Development Group No.4, released in 2005 for the Nintendo DS and later made available on Wii U. Players use the DS stylus to interact directly with the action rather than relying on traditional button controls. In side-scrolling stages, the stylus directs Yoshi across the island, tosses eggs at enemies, and steers him toward fruit that restores his egg supply. Vertical-scrolling aerial levels shift the focus to drawing clouds around enemies, collecting coins, and safely navigating Baby Mario through hazardous skies. The game supports both single-player challenges and two-player competitive modes via the Nintendo DS wireless link. Its touch-driven controls make it a relatively unusual entry in Nintendo's platformer lineup, centering the experience on gestural input rather than conventional movement mechanics.
