Fire Emblem Warriors is a hack-and-slash action game developed by Omega Force, released in 2017 for Nintendo Switch and New Nintendo 3DS. A crossover between the Fire Emblem series and the Warriors franchise, it places players in large-scale battles featuring characters such as Marth, Xander, and Corrin alongside original additions to the roster. Combat follows the Dynasty Warriors template, with individual characters capable of cutting through massed enemy soldiers and monsters using powerful, spectacular attacks. Players can switch between characters directly or issue tactical commands to allied units during battle, and a pairing mechanic allows two heroes to combine their efforts for enhanced attacks. The playable roster expands through progression, with each character bringing distinct move sets, weapon types, special abilities, and voiced dialogue. The game was produced by the team behind Hyrule Warriors.

Storyline

That day, the country of Aitriss was covered in uttermost darkness. There was no warning when the “Gates of the Other World” suddenly appeared in the royal castle. Then, powerful monsters gushed out one after the other, trampling the castle garrison. —The royal castle quickly fell. And slowly but surely, darkness ate into the country. However, there is still hope. The two shadows who escaped the royal castle covered in flames were Shion and Liane, the children of the late king. And then, the thread of fate spun by the legendary heroes began to spin… Carrying the “Fire Shield” given to them by their mother, the two heroes’ journey to confront the powerful darkness begins here.
