Metroid II: Return of Samus is a shooter-platform-adventure game developed by Nintendo R&D1, originally released for Game Boy in 1991 and later made available on Nintendo 3DS. Players control bounty hunter Samus Aran on a mission to the Metroid homeworld, SR388, where the objective is to hunt down and eliminate every Metroid on the planet.
