NCAA Football 2004 is an American football sports game developed by EA Orlando and released in 2003 for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Nintendo GameCube. A sequel to NCAA Football 2003, it features updated rosters and player statistics while retaining the core gameplay structure of its predecessor. USC quarterback Carson Palmer appears on the cover, and commentary is provided by Brad Nessler, Kirk Herbstreit, and Lee Corso. The game introduces several presentation enhancements, including players emerging from locker rooms and taking the field behind flag bearers. Touchdown celebrations are also modeled, though excessive displays can draw unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. Players can create custom college teams or rename existing ones; if a created school matches a real program's name, the announcers will use that school's name and fight song during play. The title supports EA Sports Bio integration, allowing cross-compatibility with Madden NFL 2004 and NASCAR Thunder 2004.
