Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 is a football simulation game developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo, released in 2009 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The ninth entry in the long-running PES series, it succeeds PES 2009 and was widely regarded by fans as a serious attempt to reclaim ground lost to the competing FIFA series. Notable additions include official Europa League licensing, a redesigned penalty system, more individualized player characteristics, new animations, and improved visuals.
