Metroid: Zero Mission

Metroid: Zero Mission is a 2004 action-platform shooter developed by Nintendo R&D1 for the Game Boy Advance, later made available on Wii U. A reimagining of the original Metroid, it follows bounty hunter Samus Aran through her debut mission on planet Zebes, expanding the story with new cutscenes and action sequences as she fights her way toward a confrontation with the Space Pirates and their leader, Mother Brain. The game substantially fleshes out events that the 1986 original left largely unexplored. Upon completing the main campaign, players unlock a fully emulated version of the original Metroid, offering a direct point of comparison between the two. An additional feature allows players to unlock a Metroid Fusion picture gallery by connecting Zero Mission and Fusion cartridges using a Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable.
