Released in 2003 by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo for PlayStation 2 and PC, World Soccer: Winning Eleven 7 International is a football simulation game and the third entry in the Pro Evolution Soccer series. The Master League mode was expanded and restructured into four geographic zones, each containing two divisions and cup competitions. Most club names and a large portion of player names are fictional, though Italian clubs are largely represented accurately. An enhanced edit mode allows customization of team names, flags, logos, kits, and stadiums, while a shop system can unlock bonus content including classic teams. Additional modes include training and a cone-dribbling challenge mode. Replay functionality supports fast-forwarding, rewinding, and free camera rotation. On the pitch, an advantage rule ensures fouls only interrupt play when the fouled side genuinely suffers, keeping matches flowing closer to real football.
